Hello Community! It has come to my attention that we do not have a current list of all available ranks on Dreambot. So I'm here to try and gather those up.

Colored names will probably be added soon, if I missed any ranks feel free to PM @Stormscythe and he'll add them in when he can. ;)

If any ranks are unclear, please let me or any of the staff know and we'll try to elaborate more on them in this post. Anything else you guys can think of, just PM one of the staff.

    Staff Ranks

These are the various ranks that you'll see the forum staff having. These are the people you go to when you have issues with either the client, the forums, or another user.

Or you can just talk to them to say hi.

    developer.png

Developer - These are the developers of the client. They're the ones who keep everything running, and the ones who fix client bug reports.

    administrator.png

Administrator - This is the administrator of the forums. He's the head of the forum staff, and handles any issues that come up between either staff, or if an issue comes up on the forums that they're unsure as to how to handle.

    team_sdn-manager.png.cded2d6cd84d074a479

SDN Manager - This is the person who handles all of the SDN requests: new scripts, compile scripts, remove scripts, update script information, etc. If you're a new scripter and have questions about the process of getting a script on the sdn, this is the person to talk to.

    supermod.png

Super Moderator - Super moderators are a level under Administrator, they pretty much do most of the Administrator's work while he/she gets all the credit for it. Super moderators are generally promoted from Global Moderators after showing that they're both capable as leaders and trustworthy as people.

    moderator.png

Global Moderator - Global Moderators are usually the ones you see perusing the forums and handling reports. They're very friendly people. Global Moderators are usually promoted from Trial moderators, which we open applications for if we're ever understaffed or just get lonely..

    chatmod.png

Chat Moderator - Chat Moderators are the people who sit in chat and kick you when you say mean things. These are very, very mean people. Definitely shouldn't be trusted. If you ever have an issue with someone in chat, if the chat moderator is around, pop him a private message in the chatbox and ask him politely if he could please mediate and diffuse the situation

    trial-mod.png

Trial Moderator - Trial Moderators are selected from applicants every now and then when we're understaffed. These are usually people who have consistently been active on the forums for more than a day, and in general are helpful and friendly people.

    exstaff.png

Ex-Staff - This is the rank dedicated for the staff who have served very well during their time with us. These people have done wonderful things, and should be thanked and treated with respect.

    advisor.png

Staff Advisor - This rank is pretty much not used, but if it was, it would be for the people who don't really want to be staff, but we know for a fact that they're very capable as staff, and like to ask for their advice often.

    Purchased Ranks

These are ranks that you can gain buy purchasing through the store.

    Donator Ranks

These are ranks that give no benefits other than a the pip and a colored name.

Elite Donor you must speak to one of the Developers/Administrators to obtain. You're eligible for this rank after you've donated $250+

    Designer Ranks

    leaddesigner.png

Lead Designer - Lead Designer is chosen among the designers, they're a person who show that they're willing to put effort into growing the designer section of the forums, and to mediate any issues between them. They also generally pick who should and should not be a designer. Currently they have no moderating abilities, but that's mostly because the designer section is relatively small at the moment, and doesn't need much moderating.

    designer.png

Designer - These are the people who do crazy stuff with graphics. These people are usually very skilled with graphics. They often have a graphics shop, where you can purchase great graphic designs such as thread layouts, signatures, avatars etc.

    Scripter Ranks

Scripters are the people who, well, script. They do both free scripts and paid scripts, most will take requests if you have them. If you have bugs with a script, it's the scripter you should contact first about the bug and 99.9% of the time they'll fix it as soon as they can. Just be polite about it, there's nothing worse than "you're the worst scripter ever omfg fix this right now or I'm gonna b& u".

    Don't be that guy.

    scripter.png

Scripter - These guys release free scripts on the SDN, this rank is achieved by having a free script on the SDN, and applying for it. As soon as you have a free script on the SDN, you will be promoted to Scripter. This is a manual process, and sometimes we do forget to promote people so if you're missing your rank, let a staff member know, and they will make sure that you get promoted. Anyone can upload a script to the SDN, as soon as they have a git. If you want to know how to release a script CLICK HERE.

    prem-scripter.png

Scripter+ - These are the ones who can release paid scripts. Regular scripters are unable to release paid scripts. You can get this rank when it's clear you're capable of maintaining a script on the SDN, and you're given a light competency test just to be sure that you actually know how to program. These are generally pretty capable people.

    officialscripter.png

Scripter++ - These guys know their stuff. These are the ones who have had paid scripts and free scripts on the SDN for a while, and they've taken a pretty difficult Java competency test. These are very capable programmers.

    middleman.png

Middle Man - Middle man is a rank given to people who are verified to have been successful middle men (or women) in enough transactions to ensure that they're safe to use. You have to apply to the position, and the requirements are pretty strict.

    sketchy.png

Trade With Caution - These are people who have scammed/threatened to scam/people who we're pretty sure will scam or just all around people you shouldn't trust. They can be great people to talk to, just don't trust them with your money.  :)

    scholar.png

Scholar - Scholar is a rank given to people who are shown to be intelligent, usually in more than just Java, they're actively helpful when answering questions to help others learn, and they're generally still actively learning themselves. The rank is given on an individual basis, where the user can either apply and the developers/other scholars will discuss the application, or the user can be recommended and the developers/other scholars will discuss the recommendation.
