Hey everyone, I've been building a Bank Sorter script for DreamBot and I'm looking for a few testers before release. Full disclosure up front: I'm not a hardcore OSRS player — I just make this for fun. A few people told me there's a real gap for a proper "organize my whole bank into tabs" tool, so here we are. Be gentle. 🙂 Heads up on alternatives: there are paid bank organizers on OSBot and RuneMate already, so I'm not reinventing the wheel — mine aims to be the cheap, polished, multilingual, DreamBot-native option (three ways to configure it, real item icons, EN/FR/ES). What it does It automatically arranges your bank into the game's native tabs based on configurable presets. You decide what goes where; it does the dragging. Three ways to set it up: Simple mode — pick a tab, pick an item family (Melee/Magic/Ranged weapons, Melee/Magic/Ranged armour, Clothing, Tools, Food, Potions, Runes & teleports, Ammo, Seeds, Herbs, Jewellery, Resources, Clues, Quests…), and click Add. A panel shows exactly what's in each tab. A family can only live in one tab, so the sorter never ping-pongs items back and forth. Advanced mode — full control with keywords / exact item names / item IDs per category, ordered exactly like your tabs. Image mode — a visual palette of game items by type with their real in-game icons, with search and drag-and-drop straight onto a tab. "Add a whole type" in one click. Other stuff: 16 ready-made presets (Ironman, PvM, Skiller, by-combat-style, Slayer, Farming…), plus make/duplicate/rename your own (rename a tab by double-clicking it). When you switch or edit a preset, it empties your existing tabs and re-sorts from scratch, so you don't get leftovers from the old layout. HUD overlay with live progress + bank value at live GE prices. Manual start — nothing touches your bank until you click "Start sorting." Adjustable speed (extra slow / slow / normal / fast). Trilingual UI: English, French, Spanish — happy to add more languages if someone wants one. What I need from testers: People with BIG banks / lots of items. I've only tested on an account with a few hundred items to sort, and I really want to see how it behaves at scale — more items, more tabs, edge cases. You should be comfortable installing a local script. The README walks through it; the short version: Option A (easiest): run the included build.ps1 (needs a JDK 8+, and DreamBot must have been launched once so the API jar exists). It compiles and drops BankSorter.jar into ~/DreamBot/Scripts. Option B: gradle build. Option C: build the artifact in IntelliJ IDEA (add the DreamBot client jar as a library, output to ~/DreamBot/Scripts). Then just refresh Local Scripts in DreamBot and run "Bank Sorter." Honest, constructive feedback — bugs, weird behavior, what's confusing, what you'd want added. I'm very open to criticism; that's the whole point of a beta. Known limitation (advanced mode). You can put the same keyword in several tabs. It won't loop or ping-pong — the first matching tab always wins, deterministically — but the duplicate then does nothing, so an item can land somewhere you didn't expect. The editor now flags this with a non-blocking warning. I haven't found a non-invasive way to fully guard against it in advanced mode, so for now I'm assuming advanced users won't make beginner mistakes (maybe wrongly!). Feedback welcome on this one. If it ever goes paid: it'd be cheap — I'm thinking something like $5 lifetime, maybe less. Anyone who tests during the beta gets it free, for good. That's a promise. ⚠️ The usual: automating anything in OSRS breaks Jagex's ToS and can get your account banned, even for something as harmless as sorting a bank. Test on an account you're okay risking. Thanks for reading — comment or DM if you want in. 🙏
