    4. Reason for Refund:

      The script is straightforward, but nothing runs smoothly. I bought a few instances because of Fire Cape and some skills, but I don’t like how it’s built. It can’t complete tasks efficiently. I’ve reported bugs, but they’ve been ignored.

      It spends hours walking to destinations instead of using stamina or teleporting. When a skill reaches its goal, it doesn’t stop training—it keeps going for two more hours even though I don’t need extra levels, and I can’t disable it. I have to babysit it constantly.

      How am I supposed to run multiple accounts? Babysit all of them? No thanks. This builder is a waste of time, and I don’t like it. Oh and when we stuck somewhere we use home tele, and if home tele is expired we spaming the home tele button.. Also i disabled get multiply capes and he still going for second i just cant it anymore with this script, should be half the price max.

      I want my money back.

    A refund for broken script? That's a first, anyway let's see... I do not ignore bugs. They are fixed on a weekly cycle, or sometimes a daily cycle if they are notable enough. However, I ignore reports which are not actual bugs, so let's go through them.

    • In the "missing restores" bug the bot was unable to buy bolts on the GE because nobody was selling. Thus it did not complete its setup, and noted that bolts and restores were missing. The lack of somebody selling bolts on the GE is not a bug, although it is unintuitive that this also caused restores not to be withdrawn I guess.
    • Getting multiple capes is most likely a configuration error.
    • The bot will teleport to locations if the user has sufficient gp. Stamina potions are not supported because teleports usually remove the need to run. If the bot gets stuck, for example if you started it in the middle of an agility course, it will go on a break until home teleport is available again after 10 or so attempts to walk over ~10 seconds.
    • There is a setting to cleanly stop on target levels instead of randomising a bit (the 4th one at https://aeglen.wiki.gg/wiki/Settings)

    Entirely separately from these reports, getting a fire cape is indeed broken this week due to the jagex render distance update, but somehow this doesn't seem to be affecting you lol.

    Now, the verdict. @makeitez seems to have been using my scripts on and off since 2021, and looking at your message history in Discord it seems to be full of complaints, user error, complaints based on user error, unreasonable expectations, and the occasional doomsaying which fortunately has not yet come to pass. Taking all of this into account, I would be happy for a refund to be granted on the condition that you never buy/use any of my scripts again.

Cause you say "Nobody was selling them" but somehow i buy them manually? Did you even read the bug report? It didn’t even try to buy the bolts, even though they were already in the bank! And i reported about restores, this in the picture above, you have start to read, again proof that you dont read!

        •    ANSWER: No, it’s not. You always blame user error without actually testing or investigating the issue. You just ignore it until enough people start complaining. But since not many people use the fire cape option, nobody is reporting it or babysitting the bot. I don’t use breaks because they increase ban risk—what are you even talking about? You don’t even bot yourself. I have a Ring of Wealth in my bank, but instead of using that, the bot just decides to take a break?


     

    I’m just asking for bug fixes, but you always give the same excuses. I keep buying and expecting things to improve, but I always end up in the same situation. @Aeglen banned me on Discord just for asking for a refund or fix his bugs? Is this how it works now? Not a signle message was writed except those reports, i asked for help when reporting, and instead, I got banned? Maybe you banned me just because i cant show the staff logs? If they need them how i suppose to post them now? Wow, great support! I only posted two bug reports and was banned—amazing customer service!

    You are banned because you have been a rude and incompetent user whom I no longer wish to support. Rude is clearly on show in your first post in this thread and your Discord post history. The other comes from your quite unique inability to configure the script. Please go and use a competing script, and don't forget to trash-talk us as much as possible! Now, to address your points...

    (1) your log contains multiple firecape runs, so I assume you are reporting the most recent run.

    As you can see, the bot attempts to buy bolts, but they don't buy at +15% so it gives up. The statement "It didn’t even try to buy the bolts, even though they were already in the bank" is both wrong and self-contradictory.

    (2) The logs will not help here, but it is most likely a configuration error because nobody else has this issue. Historically, most of your bugs appear to be configuration-related. I would be interested to see how you manage with a more-options script like GAIO or Sub Builder.

    (3) Breaks increase ban risk? I don't bot myself? Interesting. Anyway, based on your new information, it sounds like you have actually encountered the broken fight caves from the game update this week, which would indeed cause the bot to attempt to home teleport out of the caves. An actual bug! The bug is that the fight cave itself is broken (was broken, have been fixed last update), the home teleporting and logging out comes from the bot's desire to escape being trapped, possibly in combat, in an instanced area.

    --It is on the basis of this bug that the refund should be issued, even though there was confusion reporting it--

    (4) Always give the same excuses? I don't think I've been in touch much regarding your prior bugs, at least not recently. Normally when I respond to a bug it is to ask for information. I guess it seems plausible that in the past I replied to your bugs saying they were user error, if you consider that an "excuse" sure I guess. You are banned for the reasons listed in the first paragraph. Customer service is irrelevant since you are no longer going to be using the script. This script is horrible and buggy and you should not use it. Consider this your "firing" as a user.

    ANSWER: Can you show me what I wrote that led to my ban this week? SHOW THE PEOPLE THEN HERE NOW! Please provide the exact text or images. All I did was ask for help fixing bugs, because people like me are paying for this script and deserve proper support. Instead of adding new features, you should focus on resolving existing issues. But instead, you choose to remove users like me. I won’t conform to the way you expect me to speak. I’m not that kind of person.

    ANSWER: Once again, you’ve proven that you haven’t even tested this yourself. Somehow, I managed to solve the problem manually, babysitting it, but your script couldn’t, and yet you claim it’s not a bug? That seems to be how your logic works. And yes i have some in bank, i dont know why he needs more. Post my bug report logs then cause i cant to show everyone you banned me for no reason.

    ANSWER: I understand that logs may not help in this case, but dismissing the issue as a configuration error just because others haven’t reported it isn’t a reliable approach. You should first investigate, but you dismiss it because you think its working when its not, im telling you one more time its was not a user error, its not working!

    ANSWER: So, when the script stops, I’m supposed to take a break instead of simply using a Ring of Wealth to teleport when the bank is literally one meter away? That’s ridiculous. Fix it, because next time someone stuck somewhere else have to take a forced break? And yes it increases bans.

    ANSWER: Yes same excuses because you ignored me last time or acting like it works just fine. Dreambot staff should take action against you for banning people from the Discord server just for asking for support, reporting bugs, or requesting fixes. This is completely unacceptable, and im disappointed.

    Alright, seems like there's no other resolution to be found other than a refund. I went ahead and refunded the purchase for you.

    Given that Aeglen is one of the most active scripters we have and he has a large community, I have no reason to believe he's doing a terrible work at customer service and fixing bugs. If he was, there would be plenty of more reports of him. I do respect that the scripter has the ability to reject customers they find hard to work with, especially when a refund is offered to the customer in return. I hope you respect Aeglen's wish to not use his products in the future.

    While it is unfortunate that you were banned from his Discord, this gives no grounds to issue a penalty to Aeglen as it's his server and he can do pretty much anything he wants with it. There's always the option to contact scripters via the official channels on the DreamBot forums, such as a private message or by posting in the script's thread. We may step in and take action if the user is being ignored on forums after being denied support via third party channels such as Discord. Given that Aeglen was quick to respond here with his side of the story and offered the refund to you, I see no reason to take further action.

    @Aeglen, I do hope that any potential bugs the user reported are being looked into, if you haven't already.
