    Hi,

So i've noticed that even if i use "-Xmx256m -Xms256m" on Debian 9 Stretch the db3 client uses around 650-750mb of ram, but on Windows 2016 server OS or whatever it is.. it only uses 260-300mb.

Is this because of Debian 9 or is there any way to get it as close as Windows ram usage?

sounds maybe like a memory leak. But um. One problem i had is the cache folders get filled to the brim and crash my raspberry pi. So i had to clear them before every new run. (DBFolderCache and /temp). Idk if this will screw with other clients while they are running or not.

Not sure where it would leak though, since its only using a lot of ram on Debian 9, havnt tried any other OS though.
Dont really think it could be those files either :o

The VM can't use more RAM than you allow it to, make sure you're setting your VM options (Xmx/Xms here) before the -jar part of your command :)

java -Xmx256m -Xms256m -jar This is how i launch it

Maybe cause im using both hmm
