ironsculpture 1 Posted October 2 I know not completely related to botting, but does anyone recommend any certs in the cyber security/hacking realm? I just did the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and it was a total joke. Thanks! yeeter 1
Luxe 82 Posted October 2 IMO certifications are a joke in general. When hiring developers I do look at whether they have certificates from udemy and Linked Learning (or similar) as it displays the ability to learn for yourself in your free time.
yeeter 528 Posted October 3 CEH is a meme imo, we don't really give credit to canidates who have it when doing interviews. CompTIA Sec+ - The baseline cert needed for my industry, if we don't see this you won't be getting above an entry level position. CompTIA CySA+ - Puts you slightly above the crowd of Sec+ holders. CISSP - Awesome cert, we will pay higher rates for people who have it CCSP - Not as awesome but we still pay higher rates for this Situational certs - anything form Amazon, Azure or Cicso can be worthwhile if you are applying somewhere using those systems. A bit of a gamble if these will be worth getting but if you have time might as well.
