NeilBFormy 1 Posted February 10 Hi, I haven't played OSRS or botted in a long time. (~1year) Created a new account, nowadays being a "Jagex account". I've updated Dreambot launcher "3.23.27" I've verified i can log into the account: 1. through the jagex website 2. Through the new official client There is 2FA (email) but thats all i needed to input. However when i, from the same machine, try to add the account in dreambot i get the "There was an issue authorizing" and a message saying my IP is soft blocked. reading on the forums - seems this should mean i have to fill out a captcha or something similar? I don't believe my IP is either blocked nor soft blocked, considering i could log in everywhere else, only providing 2FA. As a precaution i've afterwards also tried signing into it with multiple different proxies, i keep getting the same error from Dreambot. I'm at a loss as to what else i can do? /Neil
NeilBFormy 1 Author Posted February 12 bump. I've now updated to Dreambot "3.23.29" Still getting the same issue two days later.
Pandemic 2816 Posted February 12 You're able to login via the official launcher because it's completing the captcha (invisible if you don't recall actually solving one manually). You'd either need a proxy that doesn't give that error, or use something like Proto's tool on the forums to run the client via the official launcher.

Did some trial and error and eventually solved my issue, i figure might be useful for others to know how I solved this. My IP wasn't blocked or banned or anything of the like. I fixed my issue by creating the Jagex account with another mail type than gmail. Hope helps others who has issues. /Neil

I tried a different provider than gmail and am still getting the error. Thanks
Dr Zooted 2 Posted February 22 (edited) I can't play on any of my accounts that are linked to my one Jagex Account that uses gmail. I tried on my Macbook as well as my Windows PC, keep getting same error. I connected to a VPN several different times and different IP addresses and still doesn't work. @Pandemic @NeilBFormy Edited February 22 by Dr Zooted
