So is it going to use the authenticator or the backup codes??

edit: It works!! Yes thank you guys for your hard work. I just had to get a new authenticator number so I disabled it and re-enabled it for a new totp key. I can now bot on my Jagex account.

[WARN] There was a problem authorizing your account '[email protected]'!

does anyone know how to fix this issue when trying to import characters on a jagex account? I quadruple checked the password and email is correct and I do not have an authenticator

Authenticator is set, and passing the key to the client.

It's likely an IP block (which should usually show a popup message), are you getting the 2FA code popup while authorizing or does it fail before that?

I'm not receiving any popup, it just says "Authorizing..." for a few seconds and then "There was an issue authorizing!". I don't have an authenticator but am also not receiving the typical 2FA code email. Thanks for the quick reply!

edit: also here's the log -

I'm not really sure what the issue could be then if the email/password is correct.

Is this a new account? If so maybe PM me the email and password and I can see if I'm able to get to the email code part.

Okay, I got it to pop up asking if it's made after Jan 8 and says it needs a 2FA code, but how do I give it the 2FA code? It doesn't appear to send an email or give me a field for the code, just says that I need it with buttons "yes/no"... Let me know if you still need a login to test
