    Why did bitcoin all of a sudden jump? I was always told that I should stash some bitcoin currency because all it does is go up.

    ok I get the value of bitcoins is worth a lot more than dollar for dollar... that I do get but then the value of 1.0 bitcoin is over 1600 euros?

    Correct.  As for its rise, given the political instability around the world, as well as Japan and S. Korea allowing their businesses to accept BTC as legal tender, cryptocurrency is on the up and up.

    Thank you for explaining it rather than posting useless emojis.  I was wondering that if more places started accepting it if that would cause the price to go up.  which makes sense.

    the recent hacks have made bitcoin alot on the news aswell raising its populairity
