You can use duel ring for fire runes or the ring of elements to teleport to the altars.
The other altars, such as law altar will use the boat.

So I tried it another time with 3500 coins in inventory and not to talk to him myself. Start script, but now closes directly without even walking and/or talking to the guy.
Do you mean it will try to catch the bird without the falcon equipment?

I am running red salamanders at the moment without issues.
Make sure you start it at the location with like 10 traps in your inventory. (Note that it currently doesn't fully support banking)
