Hello!

 

I look forward to bring part of the community and hopefully contributing a script once I learn.

Question: Is this community still fairly active? Or is everyone migrating elsewhere? I will be sinking my teeth into Java tutorials and want to know which API I should study. Kinda want to avoid pouring all my time learning one API only to find out most people use a different client. Or maybe with programming it's fairly easy to transition between APIs, not sure!

Usually all the botting APIs are the same. If you can write in Java, you can write a script with any API. So all you need to know is basic Java since the API is pretty self-explanatory.

Welcome to Dreambot! I'd say we have the most active community (if you don't count other communities flaming/harassment as activity) and certainly no one is migrating, we gain members every day.

I've been through a few botting communities and I'm establishing myself with dream for a couple reasons:

 

1. Unlimited script instances, good for bot farmers, powerlevelers etc.

 

2. Covert Mode - Not sure how it works, but my Dreambot accounts have gone longer than any other bot clients without being banned! Even supposedly more anti-ban oriented bots didn't last as long as dream!!

 

3. Active-enough community. We're not the largest, but we are by far one of/the best.

Welcome to dreambot. We may not be the most popular but personally I would say we are the most friendly community. Our client is advanced compared to others and one thing I love about this community is that people make genuine threads, and therfore the forum isnt just spammed with market ads.
