    I googled and downloaded java 1.8 but it still says 1.6 is detected. i am not computer savvy at all. I have a mac. please help

    uninstall the 1.6 version and I think you should be fine (no expert here)

    got that working now. However my new problem is when i click launch it just closes the client.
