Diddy 265 Share Posted April 25, 2016 IP changes on router reset have nothing to do with the router. Your ISP decides whether or not to issue a new IP address to your modem once it has been reset. Just figured I'd clear up some common misconceptions about networking on this thread could you make my ccna exam for me pls?
Impensus 5 Share Posted April 25, 2016 diffrent pc, so diffrent ip. prob a chainban. btw which of those were dreambot? ^^ Different computers will not have a different IP as the IP address is assigned to your modem upon connecting to your ISP's servers. The only difference is MAC code which Jagex probably won't check as their client isn't that intrusive Edit - Didn't see dreamlickers post... Volta 183 Share Posted April 26, 2016 if you have a decent router every time you power it on and off it will change ip's, and to get a different ip on your other computer run a proxy.
