I'm looking to purchase a dedicated server with 16GB, I need to run 28Bots so I know the GB wont be a issue counting 500MB/client

    now my qeustion is..

what cpu shall I take with the dedicated server?

    • Processor: 2x AMD Opteron 6272 - 32 Cores
    • OR
    • Processor: 2x Intel Xeon E5-2420 - 12 Cores

needs to be able to run atleast 28Bots, my script includes worldhopping so it uses a little more cpu.

    kind regards

I am selling a dedicated server which can run 28 bots, it has an i7 processor with 16GB RAM. It costs 70 Euros a month, but it has Windows 2012 installed and licensed. It has over 25 days remaining, I can give it to you for 20 euros PP or OSRS GP.

You would want the Intel processor, rather than AMD.

may I ask where you get that for €70 ?

why intel? i figured 32 cores would be better for many bots, no?

The Intel out performs the AMD.

It was on offer and they have ran out of the product, but the offer still stands.

I know the intel out performs AMD but is 12 cores enough to run that many bots? isn't 32 cores better figuring about 1 core/bot? i'm not a computer expert thought

thanks for the offer, but I rather hire a dedicated server for myself 25days won't be enough. :P

    It can be renewed obviously.

Perhaps, but 32 cores is overkill. I am running on 4 cores and can run 25-30 bots without any problems.

okay so I assume 12 cores would do. costs €10 extra though but if its worth it fine :P

and well yeah i know it can be renewed, but I have trust issues when it comes to from persons buying but I appreciate your offer

If anyone else has different input on why to take the Intel Xeon let me know :)

    Kind regards

Xeon apparently outperforms in every category.

yeah seems like I have to go with the 2x intel xeon.. I really hope this will be enough cores for that many bots Its my first time ordering a dedicated server, used to hire 10 VPS,  lol.
