Client Stuck at "Connecting to Update Server"

My client is stuck on "connecting to update server" am I the only one, or is it time for an update? 

After waiting a bit, the screen goes black. Runelite isn't able to connect to the update server either. 

Is this just me, or others having the same issue?

Its working now. Turns out there was an active update going on.

one of my proxies is doing the same, can connect to db/osrs on it so no idea

eh.. actually no, it just updates when i use the VPN, after updated and i switch off vpn it remains the same stuck at connecting to update server
