hotyute 8 Posted August 11, 2015 Hello dreambot users and the dreambot community! I just thought I'd give a little information about myself since I have not yet! Some of you may know me from other sites such as rune-server and moparscape. I am a long time developer most commonly known for an RSPS I made called "Fallen-Empire". It was known in its time as an "innovative" and "ground breaking" server (I'm not saying this to toot my own horn I'm just using it based on comments). It was among the first to implement the new "gpi" player updating system, of which many came to me seeking info about it (which I gladly gave ). It's systems were much like RuneScape's (down to Combat, Player and NPC clipping, cache systems, and other Basic Systems just to name a few). It possessed trainable skills such as fming, mining, smithing, fletching and many others even construction of which I did 100%. As well as a few mini-games. It maxed out at around total of 1000 players online at one time and a player base of around 50000 which was not bad give its short time of existence, which I was please with. I can go on and on blah blah about it but here are some videos. I have never really youtubed my own server (Lol what a shame) but there are tons of videos of it all over youtube. I think what made it successful was my willingness to do content and systems 100% and not do half assed content (meaning if I did a skill like smithing I made sure it was 100% like's RS's and not a quick cheap version) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag2-9MV2lDs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8F-xNlKgb8 Anyway, I'm best known for Java but my root language is C++. I was unofficially involved in the development of a game called "DragonNest". Which I left it its early stages because of legal stuff. These games I will probably never release as I have very high standards and I don't think they live up to that standard (LOL). However I have been thinking about putting some serious effort into making an only MMO (my biggest worry is sounds and live music, can't afford that shit). I've always loved the PK aspect of games... which is probably why i love RS. Its simple PK style leaves me craving more and more of it.
