thedinoman 0 Posted December 2, 2021 First time here. Checked out the docs and the threads here but can't seem to find anything about building your own client and running your scripts from there rather than using the dreambot interface and launching your scripts on that. My paranoia is basically revolved around Jagex knowing that you have dreambot installed on your local machine, regardless of you having opened their client or not. Always thought that the moment you installed their game on your computer, their anti botting system knows what kind of things you have installed on your pc, even though we all know it is not supposed to act like malware... Any thoughts? I work as a full stack dev in my daily time, so it is the first time for me to get into this kind of gig.
yeeter 529 Posted December 2, 2021 IMO not worth the time an effort when DreamBot provides everything you need, you seem to be overthinking how much Jagex actually tracks.
Pandemic 2817 Posted December 2, 2021 OSRS does not know what applications are installed or running on your computer, you're probably thinking about a dedicated anti-cheat software which they do not use.
