If anyone is having the same issue, just turn bank loot off, and set you notify me if I try to drop an item worth x to about 2k depending on the price of diamonds. Then it won't drop any of the goodies except maybe some runes at first if your inventory fills up too quickly, but once you eat like twice, it's not likely to keep happening.
