Unit/integration testing local scripts?

I'm working on Baby's First Script and have a simple TaskScript set to log experience gained every 10 loops. Because I'm writing in Kotlin and compiling down into Java, I'm running into some funky cases that I want to make sure behave how I expect them to.

Is there a simple or community-accepted way to implement unit or integration tests? This would require firing up a client.
