hey guys i recently built my first desktop. Had been wanting one for year but had only had a 4gb dual core laptop available and i was having to wipe it twice a year to keep it fast enough for me not to slat it across the room. So i finally started saving for parts and started buying them one by one for about 3 months or so lol. Anyway here is the setup:

    Parts:

    MSI Z97 PC-MATE

    i5-4670k 3.4ghz

    Veng blue 4GB x 2

    ASUS R9 270X 2gb

    Hyper Master 212 CPU Cooler

    SAMSUNG 120GB SSD

    WD 1TB HDD

    NZXT S340 Black case

    600W Power

Very nice, but wouldnt it be better if you downgraded to a 500w power supply, removed the 212 evo and the 1tb hdd.

You could have gone with a 280x(they are relative cheap now cause pirate series is on the way) and a 250gb ssd instead.

idk i thought the 280X wasnt worth it at the time for an extra 40-50£ i wanted a 600w due to upgrades later, the case has got so much room for much more :D got the 212 evo because it had highest ratings on almost every site. most notably pcpartpicker. as with the ssd i only run my OS and GTA5 on it. the rest i save to the HDD :)

How much FPS do you run GTA with and which settings?

aw:D Well here in sweden the AMD series have dropped in price alooot. sometimes you find the 280/280x cheaper then 270x.

I was lucky though got 2 980 for 500euro when they were on sale :D

i can run GTA on full ultra settings apart from population density which i have to put on half else i crash my Gfx card lol. I dont mind that though because textures and shadows and anti alias are maxed out which gives the best gameplay experience i think. get solid 50fps all day long :)

damn really o.0 id love to get a better gfx card but i couldnt justify spending more on one than i spent on the cpu lol. Maybe in the future once it starts to get abit tired i'l upgrade.

    looks sick :D

thanks dude! ive loved building it and it runs like a fooking dream :D

I like it all, just thinking maybe instead of Over priced intel just go for a AMD fx 8320 8core cpu. It still handles like a boss.

Yes intels are great, I still sticks intels in my desktops but for the price if you want to save money but have that power.. wooo weeee that'll do it.

The r9 270 I don't know much about but they're right the 280x is cheap now days.

Awesome build, how much USD did that cost? I'd assume around 650-750$ usd?
