What would be the benefit of using VMs as well? BTW, great tutorial! Very useful stuff! supposedly lower resource consumption but still in the early stages of experimenting with it to figure out if its the right solution for the farm I want.

Fair enough. I might make a tutorial on what I did for my first farm. I'm starting to use containers more and more at work. Keep us updated with what you find!

My new job I start in 2 weeks forces me to use docker so thought I would use this as a chance to learn some basics before showing up and learning on the job.
gast001 0 Posted October 4, 2020 I know this topic may be too old, but I have a huge interest in creating a bot farm with containers and maybe run it in the cloud. if someone wants to accomplish this, please let me know since i have deep knowledge in containers, cloud and coding... just never did anything with runescape and dreambot, so looking for a partnership!

Yeeter, are you still enjoying your docker bot setup? Do you use X server to render the GUI or do you run DreamBot and scripts from a non-GUI docker container?
