Wont launch

I paid my VIP subcription and tried to download it, once its downloaded i click on it and it opens in internet explorer.  I click open again and it does nothing.

You'll need to adjust the associated program with the .jar extension, the easiest way to do this is right click the launcher and click  "Open With" then look for Java. If it's not there then look for find other option at the bottom then navigate to your Program Files folder then select the jdk or jre folder inside the actual Java folder.

 

If this still doesn't work you should open cmd.exe then "cd C:\home\users\USERNAME\Downloads\" then "java -jar DBLauncher.jar", then cmd.exe will output detailed errors and from there could google the problem.

it says open with java control pannel, is that the right one

Install the Java 8 JDK, then you can right click the Launcher and press Open with... Java SE

i click the SE one a error message pops up and says unable to install java

Because you have it set to open the installer when you click on the client.

there is no java folder.  i downloaded and updated the new java also so idk what it is

i uninstalled and reinstalled now and i got in the folder. no jdk or jre files found
