nyww 0 Posted July 7, 2017 Well, my password is changed now and when I tried to recover it goes to another email. Does this happen often? If so I think I should stop botting Edit: I have nothing on my account, I've got nothing to lose, but what I don't understand is that if I'm using premium and bought the script why would I still get hacked. Edit: maybe not dreambot's fault? but please let me know if you have any good advice.
Just Chill 26 Posted July 7, 2017 Dreambot wasn't the reason you were hacked. Your password never leaves your machine. Check for malware.

There are such things as FUD (Fully Undetectable) viruses........ And depending on your antivirus, you may just not be detecting it because it's shit. Dreambot wasn't your problem.

That was probably an account you bought and the person you bought it from recovered it. If it really is your account it shouldn't be to hard to recover it yourself. You could have also put your login information into one of those fake runescape websites that advertise free gold and gotten your info stolen.

If you wanted help just ask like a normal person. There are hundreds (if not more) of people that use this bot with no issues.

When I tried to recover, the email to recover becomes come yahoo email that I do not recognize at all. Maybe after I register an account I need to setup some recovery email address? And no, not interest in gold in osrs, and have never been on those websites. the only officially "illegal" website I go on is this website. Hopefully, no one gets offended lol. I mean, the title might seem harsh, but I couldn't find any other reason why this stupid newly created, that has nothing on it account gets hijacked, you know. My friend also warned me some scripter steals accounts as well, it's not a new thing. edit: like there's no point hijacking my account...... No, you posted to blame Dreambot for no reason.. Just wanted to let you know that there are websites that look exactly like the Runescape official website that are actually fake. They will show secure at the top and everything. They are indistiguishable from the real website. If you somehow came across a link to one of these sites it may be the cuase of the issue. I am saying this since you said that only "illegal" or goldselling websites would do this.

Its obvious because they obviously got into your email too and changed the set email for the runescape account to their own.
