behavior can get a bit weird with aggressive enemies in areas where there are walls but all enemies are visible.
E.g., for aberrant spectres in the slayer tower, they are in a few different rooms and it seems like, once you kill an aberrant spectre, it's picking the "closest" enemy next on the screen -- sometimes this is opposite a wall, though, and makes you run around the entire wall into another room to attack the "closest" enemy
