Client downloads files not the Client, help!

Hi so im clicking to download the client just like everyone else does in every tutorial ive seen but when they download it they get a client they can run.. i just get a folderr full of files? my java is all updated etc so i dont see whats going on am i missing a software that lets me run this type of thing or something?

Hey, that is not our client. To download our client, click this link https://dreambot.org/DreamBotLauncher.jar orthe "Download" button on top of this page. It will download a jar file which you should be able to open. If it appears as a zipped file in your downloads folder, right click it and run with Java. Then the loader will open.
