Dreambot files wont execute

Try installing the full JDK from this link instead of just the normal version of Java. This seems to fix this issue for some users. Make sure to restart your computer after installation is complete. This is required.

I have the same problem as the OP

 

I have tried to dowload the "regular" java and it seems like java itself wont start. The files in the dreambot folder is a "license-file" instead of a .jar

 

Ive used plenty of other java based programs before so i usually know what to do. Tried to google for answers but haven't been able to find anything helpful. I am running on a windows 10 btw.

Right click the jar, go to open with, choose another app, more apps, look for another app on this pc, then go to C, program files (not X86), then Java, jre 1.8, bin, then select javaw and open, this will launch dreambot. Ive done this aswell. The files got the java logo but won't open, any idéas?
