I tried every setting available, tried creating iron or mithril bars but it just opens the inventory and waits forever. No errors either. Do I need to do anything to make it work or is it glitched? Hey, could you record a gif/video of this issue? Or at least take a screenshot of your screen when this happens. Also, please check your debug console in case any errors pop up.
