Neffarion 486 Posted July 14, 2016 why not just use https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/util/Properties.html
Calculus 30 Author Posted July 14, 2016 Hi why didnt you just use java serialization, then it couldnt be edited Hi there's no need. Don't fuck with the settings, problem solved. why not just use https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/util/Properties.html Because I didn't want to? Good luck trying to encrypt that using ANY cipher. All ciphers use the '=' sign so much that it confuses the properties parser, and can't decrpyt the info. You can however encrypt the XML output if you want, and that's up to you.
Dogerina 330 Posted July 14, 2016 why not just use https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/util/Properties.htmlPreferences would be more suited for this than Properties imo
