Patching to Runelite or actual OSRS Client

Can someone please explain what is Patching and Unpatching the Dreambot client actually mean. Does it mean that it's linking itself to said client ( Such as Runelite) and therefore disguising itself as Runelite, therefore making it harder to detect?  Someone with good knowledge on this please respond so I can feel safer about botting.

That's what I was hoping to find out. I can't find a solid tutorial on how to install this.

Im not sure what u guys are talking about, It litterally tels u in the same screen that it patches to runelite or hdos?
For people that dont understand what this means, it means that it patches the dreambot launcher into runelite or hdos... :').

So yes, when its not already obvious enough dreambot is intregrated with the DBclient, so it "basicly" pretends to be running runelite and not a custom 3rd party client. (when u choose to patch it that is)

And @ the person that cannot find a tutorial on how to instal this im feeling generous today and will write u one.

 

Step 1.

Open dreambot launcher

Step 2.

Click the patch button

And then u are done, when u might have any additional questions about this, i can send u the number of my indian uncle for support
