Cant download dreambot

Can anyone help me with this issue, I've got java 8 downloaded, I've followed like 4 different guides on how to get this download going. My issue is I'm super illiterate when it comes to tech. Typically I press download and the shortcut and everything does its own things. This time however I need to find something to run the download with, so I've been desperately trying to force things to run it, including Java which I just can't seem to figure out how to get that going. Can anyone please help me with this?

Once you download Java, download it again and open with Java

if you have the dreambotLauncher and Java 8 installed and the client does not open, download jarfix. then try to open the client again.
