Hisoka89 1 Share Posted April 29 Does it make a difference whether I create an account using my home IP? If im using a separate email account and botting on that, and then using my legit account which is on a different jagex account page? Sorry i've been away from RS since the days of Aryan mass bot ban, its been a very long time since Ive botted Trying to work out the safest method - I dont plan to 24/7 bot, just x amount of hours here and there a day
1hugeman 1 Share Posted April 30 honestly just create it on your phone. VPN and Proxy traffic is all recognized anyways. A mobile device is a genuine IP address. Every time you reboot your phone it grabs a new IP address. They don't use static addressing. Meteorite

What if you are connected to the Wifi in the house? would that give the same ip as the computer connected to the same internet?

You would have the same public ip address. It's best to create accounts and bot them on your home IP and you can create them on a proxy just make sure it's only being used by you. Sorry I didnt understand completely Creating and botting them on my home IP, what did you mean by create them on a proxy and make sure its only used by me? Do I create via the proxy and bot on home IP ... or create on home ip and bot on home ip? Also does anyone know if they can trace ips to forum posts etc? May be a silly question

May be a silly question Account creation + botting has to happen from the same IP early on. Making sure the proxy is only used by you is to minimize bans. Right I understand, do you guys recommend any cheap but efficient proxy sites? Ive read a few forum posts on proxies but, whenever I read about them it says 2GB limits and stuff I dont understand? I thought they were just ip's we use and you do a one off or monthly payment?

Avoid proxy sites that charge for bandwidth usage, what you want is static residential proxies. As for where to get them I won't disclose that info for free as it's half the battle when it comes to botting. What I will advise is google around and do some trial and error testing.. also avoid any proxies that are labeled as "RuneScape Proxies" they scream saturated. Best of luck~
