ginahana1 1 Share Posted December 15, 2023 I suggest (if possible) adding something that will check daily traiding volume (buy and sell) of item. It is hard to implement anything related to auto buying / selling based only on LivePrices, because the value of an item can massively be influenced by trading volume. This causes a need to implement methods, that will tweak the prices, cancel and place offers, lots of Sleep.sleep() and checking if the method is still profitable in terms of money making. This example is based on my expirience with trying to make efficient High alch bot, or flipping bot.
apnasus 49 Share Posted December 15, 2023 I agree that would be useful. At the moment I am implementing a 1 hour volume using OSRS Wiki's API, Looks Dreambot's org.dreambot.api.methods.grandexchange.LivePrices accesses the same API endpoint (althought it's unclear if it's 5m or 1h) so I think it'll only take them a few lines of code. MicahGonzalez 0 Share Posted April 11 (edited) Adding a feature to check daily trading volume sounds like a great idea! It could definitely enhance the functionality of your bot, especially for strategies like high alching or flipping where trading volume plays a crucial role in determining the profitability of an item. Quantum AI offers advanced trading bot solutions that can help you implement such features effectively. Their AI-powered algorithms can analyze trading volumes and market trends to optimize your trading strategies. You might want to check them out to see if their tools align with your bot development goals. Edited April 15 by MicahGonzalez
