DB Stuck at checking for updates

This error is presumably happening due to an update, since it's also happening with RuneLite.

Apparently it's also happening on the official client for some, so its a Jagex issue. Lets hope they fix it soon

It is not fixed yet.   You're replying to a thread posted September 6th.    It should be fixed with in a few hours.
