    So the repo that was created for me has a long (albeit very secure) auto-set password. As I will probably not memorize it for quite some time, is it possible to change this password?

    Usually the IDE can remember the password for you. Whenever you need to input the password somewhere, you can copy it from the SDN Requests page.

    If you still would like to change it, I think Pandemic can do that for you if you send him a PM.
