adzybee 0 Share Posted February 23, 2023 Same here. So i've tried a lot of solutions now. uninstalled every trace of Jagex, Java and DB. re-downloaded everything, tried running from CLI, unblocking from DBLauncher properties etc etc. I went as far to restore the old client.jr file and got thing temporarily working, soon crashed mid botting. numerous times ive removed the cache files. Im at a complete loss. tried java dev kit as a pose to JRE, changed environment path etc. I would appreciate anyone who could give up some of their time to help me out here. Unsure what im missing. If you're using a proxy, try without it. If it works then it's a proxy issue. If there's some other issue, try to explain what's happening and post and errors if you see any. adzybee 0 Share Posted February 25, 2023 I just want to share my solution for anyone else in the same boat as me. I think the crucial element to getting things working again was to use Javas uninstaller https://www.java.com/en/download/uninstalltool.jsp run this programme, in my case afterwards, i had to then uninstall java in the "Add & Remove Programs" section in windows. Then re-installing java and running dreambot worked
