Sithire 1 Share Posted January 12, 2023 Came back from a break for the last year or so. Ive been playing 100% legit for the last 2 weeks. Anyways I booted up DreamBot for the first time today for the last year or so and within 10 minutes of running the bot my account was locked due to it being suspected of being stolen. What could have caused this to happen THAT fast? It wasn't a ban and I've already "recovered" the account. But this just doesn't seem normal... at all. una_maquina 35 Share Posted January 12, 2023 Because you've registered or played on it with a different IP and then when you changed your IP with a proxy, it got locked. I bought tons of UK accounts and have no problems with locks when they're rested and I'm using UK proxies. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
una_maquina 35 Share Posted January 12, 2023 What I've been trying to say, is that you need to be using IPs from the same country, and if they mismatch, you'll be locked out. Also if you registered an account on one IP and are going to be running it on a different IP, rest it first -- that means waiting 2-3 days before logging in from a different IP (which is from the same country, just a different location). No proxies or VPNs used If this is true, then no idea why that happened, because dreambot uses the official client, it's basically indistinguishable from the official jagex client.
