sumyungguy48 0 Posted April 25, 2022 Scammer's profile link: RsFireGold [Redacted] RSFireGold - DreamBot - Runescape OSRS Botting Amount scammed: Discord ID + Unique Discord ID: N/A Proof that it's their Discord: N/A Explanation of the trade: Went to RSfiregold.com last night at approx 8:23 PM EST and decided to sell 272M gold. Was quoted $0.35 USD/M by Jason. Quickly went through the trade, was told PayPal payout would be instant. Met user ingame, transferred over the gold. Chatbox ended straight away and the operator banned my IP address from the chatbox function. I quickly went to look at their FAQ and saw it would take up to an hour for payouts. Sent an email 15 minutes later inquiring, and did not receive any response. Fast forward to this morning, the site operator is accepting new offers to sell gold. They are totally ignoring me and are refusing to pay me the money that is rightfully owed to me. Blatant scam. How they scammed: Refusing to payout, claiming that the GP was never received which is completely fraudulent. Ignoring all contact requests and banning me from their site to hide the chatbox. Willing to provide any additional proof necessary for this case. https://www.sythe.org/threads/scammed-by-rsfiregold-com-for-272m/ Other relevant trade screenshots: (Trade GIF) Proof of Accepted
Prime 215 Posted April 28, 2022 Your trade gif conveniently ends before showing whether or not the trade actually completed. Since you were recording at the time, can you provide an uninterrupted clip from trade start to trade end?
sumyungguy48 0 Author Posted April 29, 2022 @Prime I had previously chatted with the agent beforehand and did not expect at all to be scammed - given the site owner's reputation across various sites (paid ranks). I used gyazo gif in order to record the trade. I rushed through it as soon as I could, however it was not completed within the 7 second gif limit. The operator stalled the trade on the second screen. I attached a follow up gyazo screenshot from the runescape client with proof of the trade acceptance. I can gladly provide proof of my gyazo screenshot/gif log. The evidence I supplied should be sufficient as it shows both stamps of the client. I can follow up with web history proof as well if need be. It is undeniably suspicious that they IP banned me from their chatbox system and logged out in game as soon as they accepted the transaction. I would also like to mention that I opened an identical dispute on Sythe, which was approved. https://www.sythe.org/threads/scammed-by-rsfiregold-com-for-272m/ So your call.

You should not be using a program that limits you to 7 second gifs to record trades. Use ShareX or another alternative instead next time. That said, if the person in question doesn't reply to defend themselves, we'll take the action to ban/DNT them as well. They'll have to respond to this dispute in order to lift it.
