Do Player Variables or VarBits change?

Hey guys,

Question: Do player Variables or VarBits change and when do they normally change? (Every month, year, etc. only an estimate).

I'm currently scripting some quests and I tend to use them to keep track of the quest progress.

 

Also:

Is there an Discord for dreambot where I can chat with other fellow scripters?

They can change, not super common and to my knowledge no real pattern on when / why they change.  Just Jagex being Jagex.
