JAG98 4 Posted December 2, 2020 Have a couple of proxies at hand. All of em launch the client without any hassles. So it can be assumed that a connection with the proxy server is being established. But, when you configure your browser (like mozilla) to run via the proxy, some of em throw a security risk, some don't connect and some do. So why this? How is it that the client is able to connect to the proxy server but not a browser?
TheCloakdOne 389 Posted December 2, 2020 Depends if its SOCKS/HTTP/HTTPS & how they are handling TLS termination at the proxy. OSRS uses the SOCKS protocol for connection whereas when browsing you use HTTP/HTTPS
