SourBear 5 Share Posted January 12, 2020 Context: Worked fine one day, shut down pc. A bunch of failed pc boots later the next day, I'm back on and its not working. What happens: Double click either client.jar or DBLauncher.jar and little java icon pops up in taskbar but nothing on screen. After about 5-8 seconds icon disappears. Java: Have JRE and JDK 1_8 with no other javas installed. (Checked in C:\Program Files\Java) Using cmd to check 'java -version' comes back with: java version "1.8.0_231" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_231-b11) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.231-b11, mixed mode) Things tried: PC restarts "DreamBot Client Won't Open Solution" jarfix.exe Using a .bat file to associate .jar with the DBLauncher file or something Re-downloading DBLauncher.jar Re-downloading DBLauncher.jar after deleting the DreamBot folder in (C:\Users\*user*\). I've just finished writing and testing a script I want to run but now I cant so this is a bit fustrating, hope I provided enough info and ask for more if u need any I just really want this fixed love ya dreambot

I have had problems with my windows account's admin privileges corrupting and cause or sorts of weird shit to not work. Hoping it isn't that again but pretty sure it isn't. SourBear 5 Author Share Posted January 30, 2020 -=UPDATE=- Just went to DreamBot folder in 'C:\Users\*user*' and when running 'client.jar', a 'Java Virtual Machine Launcher' window popped up saying "Error: Invalid or Corrupt jarfile". Deleted the Dreambot folder and redownloaded DBLauncher. Ran it, no luck. Went to Dreambot folder and ran client.jar, no luck. Just removed all java from the computer and am reinstalling Java JRE 1.8. Wish me luck
