HawkerArcher 0 Posted May 9, 2015 Hey, my first time posting here, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. How detectable is the bot client? What methods do the scripts use? (Injection, reflection, colour, etc.) Thanks
Pandemic 2823 Posted May 9, 2015 Well the first question is hard to answer objectively, but we're definitely less detectable than the average bot. We use only reflection
Nebraska 136 Posted May 9, 2015 Well the first question is hard to answer objectively, but we're definitely less detectable than the average bot. We use only reflection ^^^ I would say very undetectable but with some not so distant future updates I know they have planned expect us to be the one of, if not the most undetectable bot out there.
Cruel 103 Posted May 9, 2015 I've done a little research on injection vs. reflection and my conclusion is that reflection (which we are) is less detectable because of the fact that it doesn't directly modify the game client like injection does. Reflection pulls values from the game and uses those values to automate actions instead. Although this makes the client a little bit slower than injection, it is certainly much less detectable.

It makes no difference if it's done right. In fact injection would actually be better because of the speed increase, decreased resource usage and the ability to do some things you can't do with reflection.

Well I'm comparing OSB to Dream and OSB injection gets hammered harder than a hooker at a bachelor party.
Superman 49 Posted May 9, 2015 Color bot are more safer, even color api. Inject and reflect are really no difference.

Polish Civil 90 Posted May 10, 2015 1. Client its just client, scripts are the things that need to make it 'less detectable.2. Injection modifies class tructure which can be easily detected locally, without anything special added to current jagex client.2. Reflection can be detected as well but not that easy as ^. 3. The point it that implementation of dreambot/other well known osrs bot can be easily detected, but is it? Not really. 4. If you use good script jagex wont suspect you so they wont 'run' local detections kek, thats my opinion.Bonus:There are many implementations of reflection/injection it can be done in dozen ways so to answer such question dreambot would need to tell how they really handle reflection etc. lol. Bonus #2Sometimes its faster to implement bot than write good script lol. THATS WHY YOU FUCKING PAY FOR SCRIPTS NOT CLIENT
