Xinaal 1 Share Posted November 30, 2018 If I'm finding the accounts that I bot on from my home IP getting banned regularly/quickly; can I simply run an ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew to acquire a new IP and expect to have some degree of success? Xinaal 1 Author Share Posted November 30, 2018 Well to give you a brief background.. I botted on this IP no problem for close to 11 months on 1 account. As soon as I ran a 2nd bot I was banned on both accounts in under 24 hours. Any account I botted from this IP I've been banned on in under 24 hours. I imagine I'm IP banned? I'm running several bots on individual proxy's right now no problem.
Nuclear Nezz 1926 Share Posted November 30, 2018 That's not really an IP ban, but it could have flagged your IP for some random reason. I've had plenty of bans doing different tests, and I can still bot fine. But yeah, it depends on your provider. You could try turning off your router/modem overnight, then when you turn it on in the morning it *might* have a new IP address. Or if it's a provider that offers easy IP switches, then you could try the release, or just turning off your router/modem for a few minutes. If all else fails, just call your provider. Xinaal 1 Author Share Posted November 30, 2018 (edited) Understood. Out of curioisty, what would be an IP ban then? Like I just wouldn't be able to sign into the game at all from my IP or something? Edited November 30, 2018 by Xinaal
