peanutbutterp 1 Share Posted January 2, 2018 Hello, I have an issue with DreamBot, it simply wont start, yet I see the javaw.exe process running after I hit the DBLauncher. Tried a different launcher Tried a reboot Tried removing the %username%\DreamBot directory Tried disabling AV Using the latest JRE version, running on Windows 10 64-bit Pro. What happened before is that I tried setting up a project in IntelliJ IDEA with success, but couldn't run the client ever again. Client ran the first time tho. Any suggestions? Running the client with a command line is giving me this error: Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NullPointerException at org.pushingpixels.substance.internal.utils.SubstanceColorUtilities.getDefaultBackgroundColor(SubstanceColorUtilities.java:758) at org.pushingpixels.substance.internal.utils.SubstanceColorUtilities.getBackgroundFillColor(SubstanceColorUtilities.java:661) at org.pushingpixels.substance.internal.ui.SubstancePanelUI.__org__pushingpixels__substance__internal__ui__SubstancePanelUI__installDefaults(SubstancePanelUI.java:73) at org.pushingpixels.substance.internal.ui.SubstancePanelUI.installDefaults(SubstancePanelUI.java) at java.desktop/javax.swing.plaf.basic.BasicPanelUI.installUI(Unknown Source) at org.pushingpixels.substance.internal.ui.SubstancePanelUI.__org__pushingpixels__substance__internal__ui__SubstancePanelUI__installUI(SubstancePanelUI.java) at org.pushingpixels.substance.internal.ui.SubstancePanelUI.installUI(SubstancePanelUI.java) at java.desktop/javax.swing.JComponent.setUI(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/javax.swing.JPanel.setUI(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/javax.swing.JPanel.updateUI(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/javax.swing.SwingUtilities.updateComponentTreeUI0(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/javax.swing.SwingUtilities.updateComponentTreeUI0(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/javax.swing.SwingUtilities.updateComponentTreeUI0(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/javax.swing.SwingUtilities.updateComponentTreeUI(Unknown Source) at org.pushingpixels.substance.api.SubstanceLookAndFeel.setSkin(SubstanceLookAndFeel.java:2091) at org.pushingpixels.substance.api.SubstanceLookAndFeel.setSkin(SubstanceLookAndFeel.java:2184) at org.dreambot.launcher.DreamLauncher.lambda$main$0(DreamLauncher.java:19) at java.desktop/java.awt.event.InvocationEvent.dispatch(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventQueue.access$500(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventQueue$3.run(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventQueue$3.run(Unknown Source) at java.base/java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.base/java.security.ProtectionDomain$JavaSecurityAccessImpl.doIntersectionPrivilege(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpOneEventForFilters(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForFilter(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForHierarchy(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.desktop/java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(Unknown Source)

By any chance do you know if I can develop scripts using JDK 9 as well, or I need to downgrade too? Are you using Java 9? You need Java 8. Yeah works once downgraded. Thanks!
