lily 491 Posted September 7, 2017 lily's Fried Pickles Recipe Had some fried pickles at the MN state fair and they're super good bar food, so here's how to make htem Features - Tasty af - Not really healthy but whatever - Nice appetizer or drunk food - Uses lily's antiban free Setup - Things you'll need: Pickles, frying oil (I use avocado, but canola or vegetable works), flour, red pepper, cajun seasoning, onion powder, salt, water, for sauce: mayo, ketchup, horseradish. - Mix batter out of flour, red pepper, cajun, onion powder, salt, and water. Dont make it too running, but not so thick you can't coat the pickle in it. - Slice up pickles in "coin" shape - Heat oil. Do not use low smoke point oil like olive oil, avocado, corn, peanut, canola or veggie - Coat pickles in batter and fry, until golden brown, place on a plate with paper towel. Repeat until done - Mix sauce from mayo, ketchup, horseradish, and cajun. - Eat and enjoy
