    1. Always assume you're going to get banned Always assume you're going to get banned using private scripts Always assume you're going to get banned even faster using public scripts Follow these 3 simple tips and you'll be much happier each day your bots survive
    2. I still got a "Disabled" responce, not sure if that's what you mean or not, but yeah the login solver still stops the script as it should. I can post the screenshot or the console log if you need it
    3. Thanks for such a quick update! Just FYI, the message for when account is banned has changed, not sure if this will cause an issue during the login solver or not, see below; [EDIT: Never mind guess I should've tried first before posting haha, everything functions as it should. That message just threw me off.]
    4. I had a feeling it did, it's been a while since I tried, should come in handy for some lengthy dialogues thanks!
    5. Oh ty! will this include holdspace? I noticed Keyboard.holdSpace was doing the same thing when I was making a tutorial island script

      Quest()

Not sure if it's a bug or intentional or what, but none of the Quest() methods work if you have any sub tabs selected in the Quest tab (like diaries for example) to get around it I'm simply checking if widgetchild(399,1) is visible (the one that has text "quest list" when the sub tab "Quest List" is selected) if not visable, interact with widgetchild(629,8) <- that's the "Quest List" sub tab widget. Once that sub tab within the quest tab is selected, all the Quest() methods work. (Like "isFinished()") I can post actual code if this doesn't make sense. I noticed javajocs says Quest() is deprecated, should I be using something else?
    7. Does registering an email actually matter? I just use the format [email protected] on account creation and just never register a real email lol, I like making them say funny things like "[email protected]" or "[email protected]"
    8. This kind of has a small example of the differences between abstract and task: https://dreambot.org/forums/index.php?/topic/8530-scripting-101/#comment-78769 tbh I had no idea that was a thing until just now haha, I'm using nodes but in an abstract script (basically task script but no priority and I wrote my own get previous node, set node, fail limit, etc.) Hope this helps! If you want when I'm on pc I'll post an example of what I'm doing, it's probably not ideal but it works for what I'm doing.
    9. I had a feeling that was going to be the answer haha, maybe I'll play around with it at a later point, but for now I guess I'll leave it as is. Unless there's a way when storing my GameObject to ignore clickable points that are only a few pixels high and wide? I'm assuming interact is using the clickable points stored in the GameObject? Not sure how that would work being that the fire is a moving object though.. oh well, I'll figure something out if it bothers me enough haha, thanks for the reply though
    10. Is the source code listed anywhere for the built in functions in the api? I'd prefer to just copy/paste it to make a small change on fire only, instead of writing my own. (I'm assuming interact is what's getting the clickable point, based on all the clickable points returned by gameobject?) Or is it possible to use override and check if it's a fire we're going to interact, if so do "x", else do the normal interact? I'm not supper familiar with overrides.. The "issue" (it's probably not an issue but no human does this) is the built in interact will click on the tiny flames above the game object. These flames are moving and only a few pixels in size, I'd imagine most humans would click the base of the fire, aka the largest clickable area, not the tiny little floating flames. If interact is simply getting a random clickable point and using the other built in "click" call then I guess I'll just write my own, but in case interact is using some kind of black magic I'm not aware of I'd like to keep that, but just ignore the small clickable points and use the base of the fire
    11. That's awesome! So much easier than walking around in f2p with lvl 1 magic haha thank you!
    12. Is there an easier way to get Player Position, like some sort of map or something I can use to see what the coordinates are without having physically walking to the location in game?
    13. Was just a suggestion for determining which burner you were at and making sure the one you want to go to is the one that the GameObject filter is picking up.
    14. That is perfect, I knew there had to be a way to do it, just got too many results to flip through when searching the word "status" in the java docs haha. Thank you. Ooh I can even make them fade and be different colors this is great!
    15. Does it change each time you enter/leave? Or the owner logs? I'd imagine per session they stay the same, right? So don't make them a constant, but rather grab the tile in the beginning of the script, and they should stay the same throughout the time the script is run
    16. Could also use the Tile each one is on as a reference, they're both stationary so I'd imagine the Tile wouldn't change unless the POH owner moved the rooms around, correct? This way it doesn't matter where you're standing, you'll have the one you're looking for every time.
    17. Is it possible to update the text in the bottom left corner of the Client? Mine just says "Starting ScriptName Now!" Currently I'm putting things in the Console Log, but it's getting cluttered during repetitive tasks and I would rather just update the status of the script on the client so I don't even need to open to Console. I know I can do it with Paint and just overlay it on screen, but curious if it's possible to just use that space in the bottom left on the client window, I just need to put 1 or 2 words there at a time so length isn't an issue.
    18. IMHO it seems pretty random sometimes... I've gotten 99 mage on 2 accounts stun-alching (casting stun on an npc wearing armor to splash, then quickly high alching 1-2 game ticks later, repeat) for hours and hours, any human would kill themselves after 1 hour let alone 5-6 hours. Then I've also had accounts banned for doing afk activities such as cooking and fletching, where it's literally 1 or 2 clicks per minute... one afk activity I've never been banned for though is splashing, it just randomly opened a tab or enabled/disabled run every 5-10 minutes to make sure I didn't log out. Regular high alch, I've done with AHK, item placed in inventory right under spell and did 0 mouse movements, just clicked over and over for 8+ hours, no ban lol. I don't get it tbh, to me it just feels like luck of the draw for bans.
    19. I've had hand ran tut accounts banned for botting, before I could even bot them... I've noticed how many times you run tut and also how short or long of a wait in between using the account creation page on the same IP plays a role. The sole survivor of my tut script was created a lone and run tut alone (24 hour period) did not instantly log off either, instead did a few things and got a few combat lvls, and still not banned. All the others finished tut, logged off, banned either insta or next day... but were all run at least 4 or more accounts in a 2-4 hour period. Fun fact, you can skip the woodcutting and fire making part if there's a fire already lit and you successfully cook your shrimp on it (you can burn it, unlike when it's your own fire)
    20. I've noticed that I can get 1 (2-day) ban per year [at least the last 2 years...] (the bans usually "Expire" after 1 year) This is my theory from 1 of my accounts. Banned for 2 day in early 2021, banned for 2 days again in mid 2022 (more than 12 months after 1st one, where 1st one has "Expired" already) So my theory is perma happens if caught a 2nd time before 1st expires. [This is ONLY a THEORY, 1 case does not prove anything] (Was also bonded for both offences and a majority of the time in between) If anyone has any longer history to either support or disprove this I'm curious to know. I'll have to wait until next year to test it out again lol
