  1. The the attached picture is what i'm referring too. If i use a batch file to launch these do not show up. If i launch through the launcher they do
  2. Ive managed to fix my java path so now its just what it should be. I wonder if its these warnings before the client fully launches java -jar %homepath%\DreamBot/BotData/client.jar -Xbootclasspath/p:C:\Users\Admin\Dreambot\BotData\client.jar -Xmx3048M -username username -password password
  3. Thanks for taking the time to help but it is still not working. The only difference now between your batch and mine is the java path. For some reason no matter how many times i change the path in windows settings java isnt recognized. So i have to use the direct path. "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_241\bin\java.exe" -jar %homepath%\DreamBot/BotData/client.jar -Xbootclasspath/p:C:\Users\Admin\Dreambot\BotData\client.jar -Xmx3048M -username username -password password
  4. I have these settings but my onpaint method still doesn't show up on screen when using a batch file to start the client. Example code: public void onPaint(Graphics g) { scriptRT = System.currentTimeMillis() - this.scriptBT; g.drawString("Some timer: " + conVer(scriptRT), 1, 20); g.drawString("Current Task: " + currentTask,1,75); g.drawString("Current State: " + currentState,1,100); g.drawString("Idle Counter: " + idleCount,250,100); }
  5. My client keeps freezing so I wanted to add more memory than the launcher allows. My .bat is as follows: java -jar client.jar -Xmx3048M When I launch the client through the bat none of my On-paint strings, player coordinates & etc appear. Is there a line that i'm missing above to make these things appear?
  6. I keep getting this. Turn on fresh start if you dont already have it on or delete all your cached data pertaining to dream bot
  7. I wanna say its cached but i'm sure one of the developers will chime in eventually to give you an exact answer.
  8. I cant edit the above comment for some reason but its meant to say "Both just stand there until either another NPC of the same type spawns, or another NPC of the same type walks into the area I specified.
  9. In this case my character is using magic while safe spotting. If the NPC is farther than the cast range the player will step out, cast and return to the safe spot. But once in the safe spot again the character and NPC both just stand there until either another one spawns or walks in to a specified area because im currently only checking if the NPC is in combat to avoid trying to attack an NPC fighting someone else
  10. I'm trying to attack an NPC, move to a specified tile and then attack the same NPC again and I cant seem to figure it out. Are there other ways to check if you can interact with an NPC besides the common "if is in combat" or "if health bar is visible". Id appreciate any help provided.
  11. Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me. I think the menu could use some reworking as its quite confusing to new users like me.
  12. Can someone please explain the usage of the break function of dream bot. I assume it takes a "break" and stops the bot, but i'm having trouble understanding the fields in the break settings. Interval is how often it breaks, but what is preset hour and minutes? Duration is the duration of the break? I tried browsing the client guide section but i didn't find anything related. Also, can someone explain to me what fresh start and covert mode do?
  13. I would recommend not using Dreambot on your main account. Some scripts have anti-ban measures but it does not guarantee your account will not be banned. I don't think detecting unofficial clients plays much of a role. OSbuddy and Runelite aren't official and plenty of people use them.
  14. I'm sure the bot you are trying to run may be playing a factor too. Depending on what it is and how its wrote could play a factor.
  15. Thanks for the continued development of DreamBot!
