Diddy 265 Posted August 24, 2016 Hi and welcome to my Zulrah guide for dummies Here I shall explain and show you how I like to kill zulrah, feel free to comment down below with question/advice/doubts. How to get there: The easiest way to get to Zul-Andra is by using a Zul-Andra teleport scroll, but these are expensive. I prefer to use the fairy rings (code BJS), but you need 76agility and a dramen staff which is 1 extra inv space. You can also sail to Port Tyras and walk to Zul-Andra, I like to tele to Ardougne, get 1630gp from the bank and start sailing. How Zulrah works: So first off, zulrah has 3 forms; green, blue and red form. Each diffrent form attacks diffrently; the green form will attack with range, the blue one with magic and the red one with melee. Above that green and red are weak against magic and the blue one is weak against ranged. You can avoid all dmg done by the green form simply with "protect from missiles" and most of the blue form with "protect from magic". The blue form likes to be annoying however and will sometimes hit you with ranged attacks, you can't predict it so the only thing you can do to avoid dying is to "1 tick eat". (More info about "1 tick eat" in the "Tips And Tricks" section) To avoid red form damage, you can simply move away when it is facing you, here are the diffrent areas it faces Above zulrah it self, there will be snakelings and toxic smoke clouds. Therefor it's highly advices to wear a ring of recoil as snakeling only have 1hp, but can hit high. To avoid the smoke clouds it important to follow the "Killing Zulrah" steps correctly. If you die while fighting Zulrah then you can claim your items back from Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig, she will hold on to your items until you claim them. If you however die a second time before claiming your items then those will be lost! Gear & Suplies: GEAR: I prever to wear full void because it's free gear (apart from the little pest control grind), but other gear should work as well, this is just how I do it. Keep in mind though, the faster you kill Zulrah the more loot you get and the less supplies you waiste. A "God blessing" for that dank +1prayer boost, Eternal/Pegasian boots (or other boots), toxic blowpipe = OP, Trident of the swamp or Trident of the Seas with an Unholy book ( Book of Darkness is better though). occult necklase, fury god cape, ava accumulator Your inventory should look something like this range pot, magic pot and anti-venom+ 1-2 prayer pots, depending on your prayer level and how many you kill a trip. Ring of dueling to reset your stats at clan wars and to bank Stuff to get to Zul-Andra, here varrock tab + dramen staff (fairy ring with 76agility) spare ring of recoil if the other one breaks, you should destroy the ring at the bank when it's under 10 charges Cooked karambwan for "1tick eating" + high tier food Killing Zulrah: Zulrah rotations, memorise them by study and/or practice have protect from magic + Eagle eye as quick prayer enter zulrah pot up go to startTile (bottom left) Mystic might prayer ON Attack Zulrah (anti-venum if not done before and no serp helm) ---ROTATIONS--- Rotation ONE: move when red zulrah faces you quick prayer + walk to other side + range gear -> attack protect from range + magic gear -> attack prayer off, walk when zulrah faces you quick prayer ON + range gear -> attack protect from range + move to left pillar + magic gear quick prayer + move to right pillar + range gear *when zulrah stops attacking you protect from range for next phase magic gear+ attack zulrah, switch prayers starting with range prayer off, walk when zulrah faces you (walk in the toxic smoke) protect from range, go to startTile when smoke is gone Rotation TWO: move when red zulrah faces you quick prayer + walk to other side + range gear -> attack prayer off + magic gear -> attack quick prayer + range gear, walk to middle when smoke is gone walk to left bottom+ magic gear, walk when zulrah faces you walk to left pillar + protect from range quick prayer + walk to right pillar + range gear *when zulrah stops attacking you protect from range for next phase magic gear+ attack zulrah, switch prayers starting with range prayer off, walk when zulrah faces you (walk in the toxic smoke) protect from range, go to startTile when smoke is gone Rotation THREE: Protect from range prayer off + walk to right bottom quick prayer + ranged gear protect from ranged + magic gear quick prayer + ranged gear+ walk to left pillar prayer OFF + walk to right pillar + magic gear protect from ranged quick prayer + walk to bottom left + range gear magic gear, prayer switch (jad phase starting with magic) Rotation FOUR: quick prayer + ranged gear protect from ranged + walk to right pillar + magic gear quick prayer + ranged gear walk to left pillar + magic gear protect from range move to right pillar when smoke clears up quick prayer + ranged gear protect from ranged + move to left bottom + magic gear quick prayer + range gear magic gear, prayer switch (jad phase starting with magic) quick prayer + ranged gear After a rotation is done, a new one will appear and sometimes an extra form will appear which you can most of the time just avoid by hiding behind a pillar. Tips & Tricks: One tick eating: technique where you eat multiple stuff in one tick. To do so you must eat them in the folowing order: Normal food + potion + karambwan Vengeance: At level 94 you can cast vengeance with the lunar spellbook. This can be usefull when dealing with the blue form as it can hit random ranged attacks. So when you see a green projectile incomming your way and you don't have protect from Missiles enabled, then the only thing you can do is to cast vengeance to rebound 75% of the incoming dmg and to one tick eat to recover health. NOTE: vengeance stacks with the ring of recoil so it can be activated by snakelings Media: I'll make some more (better) vids in the future https://youtu.be/5KIJHSSTu24 Thanks for reading and I hoped you learned something from it!
