Skankhunt42 18 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Hey there, I want to run more bots on my pc, while still being able to game in the meantime. I am currently using an AMD FX-4300 Processor with 8GB of Kingston Fury Red 1866 MHZ DDR3 Ram, but I do not know whether this will be strong enough to open 4/5 clients with 2 bots each. Can someone give me some advice? Would be appreciated ^^
Dreamlicker 750 Share Posted March 12, 2017 That's a rather old/underpowered processor. You're going to need to look at what processor socket your motherboard has (Looks to be AM3+ as that's what your processor supports) and see what other processors use that socket. The new AMD processors use the AM4 socket so you won't be able to use those without upgrading your motherboard. I personally have an Intel i-5 6600k which has served me very well. idriveby 1 Share Posted March 14, 2017 If you've ever upgraded before and have old parts or an old pc, what I did is assemble a bunch of old hardware into two pcs just for bots, so you could even upgrade your motherboard/cpu and save the old one for another. But you would also potentially need new ram for a new motherboard (depending if it's ddr3/4), a psu for the old, hdd or ssd.
