U Eat I Pk 3 Posted July 5, 2016 Hi all, I haven't botted in a good 6-7 years. I used to use NeXus/iBot? whatever it was called back in the day and that shit was so ahead of its time that NONE of my RS3 accounts today are banned and they are maxed combat (except a couple pures) the one I used called Perfect Fighter if anybody remembers that one. Anyway, I just got back into the game and have no interest in making money. I will gladly AFK all my stats legit but wouldn't mind botting a small fortune to fund all this. I used to just swap things around freely but now see talks of Jagex monitoring trades or whatever? I don't care if I make 1000 accounts and they all get banned but if i transfer from them to the main account will that get banned as well? what's the best way to avoid this from happening and would people recommend using a VPS to set up like 10+ bots? thanks
Cardozz 46 Posted July 5, 2016 I don't know if they actually monitor trades continuously. Thousands of people trade each second, so that would consume alot of their data. Back in the days even with the worst bot client out there could get you 99 runecrafting or w\e. They didn't seem to have an anti-bot system. I also got 99 magic by autoclick-alching back in the days on my main account (which i still have and play on). In my opinion, Jagex only monitors the real big trades (like 50 - 100m +). Why would they monitor all the small ones in first place? YES. Your main account WILL be banned if it intentionally interacts with a bot. There is no best way to avoid bans (not at this time). I highly recommend a proxy/VPN to keep your real mac/IP adress clean. Also, having 10 accounts running on one IP is an easy catch for Jagex, so run at max 2 - 3 accounts on one IP adress. By doing this all the accounts you use are not connected to each other, which reduces the chance of a chain ban.
TechTaco 23 Posted July 6, 2016 I used to watch all the osrs live streams, and I remember during one of the Q&A's they said that they only look at the trade history if they believe there is a mule involved. The one thing Jagex hates more than anything is people profiting IRL from bots that they used in-game. So unless you are doing huge trade maybe more than 10 mil at a time, then your acc should be fine. But if I were you I would create another main by hand that you wouldn't use and trade the money on that main before you give it to your real main, just to be safe. I hope I helped.
Cardozz 46 Posted July 6, 2016 bro just trade ur main acc ur fine I used to watch all the osrs live streams, and I remember during one of the Q&A's they said that they only look at the trade history if they believe there is a mule involved. The one thing Jagex hates more than anything is people profiting IRL from bots that they used in-game. So if i do: Bot acc A > Main acc A > Main account you always play on and don't want to have banned there is no chance they will ban your main??
TechTaco 23 Posted July 6, 2016 So if i do: Bot acc A > Main acc A > Main account you always play on and don't want to have banned there is no chance they will ban your main?? I never said that just that it might lower your chances
pharaoh 131 Posted July 6, 2016 So if i do: Bot acc A > Main acc A > Main account you always play on and don't want to have banned there is no chance they will ban your main?? ive traded my mules from and on my main account without getting it banned, same for regular bots
U Eat I Pk 3 Author Posted July 6, 2016 Thanks all Gonna buy a proxy and hope to farm a little bit of GP to give me some motivation to play again
