logic0671 0 Share Posted June 9, 2020 Hi, I am new to botting and am looking for a safe way to bot 5 - 10 accs. My computer can support about two scripts before it starts lagging a lot. Because of this I want to get a VPS to host my bots. The problem is I have been reading that when you use VPS's you can easily get banned because of the high likelihood of the VPS's subnet being flagged. Is there a way around this? Should a proxy be used in conjunction with a VPS? Also, I was wondering if there is a rule of thumb regarding how much CPU and RAM a single bot needs? I would greatly appreciate any help! Stoned 52 Share Posted June 9, 2020 Yes, you can use a proxy on the VPS to ensure that your IP is clean (as long as the proxy is...). In regards to the CPU/RAM question, there is no simple answer as each script runs differently. I'd recommend you to run one bot with the script of choice for 10 minutes and take note of the CPU/RAM usage. Multiply these values by the number of bots you wish to run, with an extra 20% added for resource availability. That should give you an idea of what sort of specs you need, though in my limited experience the CPU is much more important than the RAM available (as long as you have a few gig). Therefore I would recommend picking a VPS with a great CPU with at least 4-8vCores.
