Dreambot cant launch

Recommended Posts

Here i am again... i still got the same problems... it worked fine for a few days but now out of nowhere is stopped working again.

When i try to launch my dreambot it says:

The change log isn't available, please check your firewall settings or try again later.

Even if i shutdown my windows defender, it still doesnt work so i doubt its a problem with my firewall.

I am not on a public network or anything (just at home). On my other pc and laptop it works fine.

My pc where i get the error is the newest of them all, and has windows 10 (sigh). I got java 8 installed.

Very strange is that sometimes after 10 tries i can launch my client but then i cant run any scripts.... I really need someone who can help me out.

If i start dreambot with cmd i get errors.

  1. Open command prompt (windows start button, type cmd in search)
  2. Click top left of command prompt, click properties, enable quick edit mode
  3. Copy: setx _JAVA_OPTIONS -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

  4. Right click on command prompt, should paste

  5. Hit enter. That easy!

This made it work lol. So anyone with this problem, try it.

Worked for me as well. I tried most other options before this one. Not wanting to believe it was an iPv6 port problem... Although in the back of my head.... Thanks for the command prompt code! definitely the easier way to manually do it.
